Growing up on the Jersey Shore, I've spent a lot of time in the ocean and on the surrounding beaches. My initial passion for art was film photography in high school ; then branching out into ceramics where I developed a skill in sculpture and attraction to the element of fire. After completing high school I moved to Philadelphia to study business at Temple University. Living in Philadelphia I got the opportunity to visit many glass galleries and museums where I quickly fell in love with the medium. Soon after I purchased a Carlisle CC torch where I started to make sculptures and pendants. As my skill grew I started to focus mainly on stemware, this allowed me to create a product that was both beautiful and functional. After completing a business degree at Temple University, I stayed in Philadelphia and started Vino Glassworks, where I currently offer my "Custom Glass Art" service.
Glassblowing was always a hobby until clients started requesting personalized work to their exact specification. This created the "Custom Glass Art" service that is offered today. Being the owner/operator I will guide you through the design process and keep you updated during production to ensure the product meets all criteria.
